Grp Repairs
We offer a wide range of fibre glass repairs and manufacturing were we will spec your repairs/maintenance to suit you and your needs and your budget. We only use high quality materials to help produce floorless results.
Moorings & Births Looe
Norman Pearn & Co Ltd offer rented moorings all year round in Looe River, you do even though we are tidal in Looe there is a 4hrs window either side of high tide giving our boat owners good flexibility of around 8 hours use per tide of there craft. There is no waiting list and you do not have to live in the local area. Please contact us now for the latest offers.
Also available at the top of our slipway is a dinghy and kayak park which is available at a fixed price of £110 per year.
Marine Engineering Services
We have the latest diagnostic equipment for all main brands Yamaha, Waverunner, Evinrude, Seadoo, Tohatsu, Mercury, Mariner, Nanni diesel & Mercuriser, Honda, Suzuki, Mann, MTU, Yanmar, Cat, Ivico, Athena ECU based and logging equipment to name just a few.
All our servicing is carried out by qualified technicians using the latest equipment. We use genuine parts on all our servicing in less instructed by the owners.
Winter Storage & Craning
We hire in a 60-100 tonne crane to lift out all the boats for winter storage. We have a maximum lift capacity of 50ft long and 35 tonne.
We have an on site lifting capability all year round of 1 tonne up to 21ft.
During the winter months we offer a hard surface storage area in the far side of our car park for boat, trailer and cradle storage.
Fabrication
We offer fill in house design fabrication in both aluminium & stainless steel. We can carry out any manufacturing task such as R+D as well as repairs. We also have the availability carrying out FEA works.
We work with customers to achieve there desired out comes at affordable costs.
We can offer things like stainless hand rails including bending/forming, keel bands, T tops, A frames etc we also offer works that are non marine related.
Shop
We hold all Yamaha and Tohatsu service items in stock as as well as inflatable towables, Paddle boards, Electronics such as GPS, VHF, Fishfinders etc. We also stock most Tohatsu outboards up to 140hp with normally over 30 new engines in stock. We are main dealers for Garmin, Icom, Ray marine, Jobe, Yamaha Accessorise, Wave line dinghies, Yam Inflatables. We also hold a wide range of life jackets, oils lubes and engine - boat accessories.
Maintenance
We offer a wide range of maintenance to do with all types of boats, from Gel repairs, boat polishing, Cleaning, Antifouling weather its for the first time or re coat, Servicing on all types of engines & systems, Varnishing, wooden boat maintenance, boat/hull refurbishment, Engine installation, stain removal, injector testing and cleaning in house, pressure washing, stainless steel polishing, flow coating, electronic installation & Systems, keel band installation, boat painting etc.
